[1] Preparation for surgical procedures

 

Unless otherwise informed, you will be advised to arrive at the hospital at least two hours before your estimated surgery time.

Please do not eat or drink ANYTHING up to 6 hours before your surgery time. You may, however, drink ONLY water up to 2 hours before your surgery time.

For minor anorectal surgical procedure, you may be given a rectal enema before surgery as part of the preparation.
